How to Care for Your Tea Garden Pillow
Bringing Home a New Pillow
First, cut the labels off of your new pillows before using them on your bed. Scratchy labels will only get in the way of a peaceful night's sleep. You can also choose a decorative pillowcase to match your sheets.
Protecting your Pillow
Cover your pillow with a pillow case at all times. This will keep your pillow free from dust, dirt and body oils.
Clean the pillowcase and solarize the filler regularly to keep your pillow fresh and fragrant.
Keep a Supply of Extra Pillowcases
Our pillowcases are the outer layers of traditional Chinese elements. Always buy at least one extra set of pillowcases each time you purchase sheets. Extra cases will give you the option of changing the pillowcases every few days to freshen up the bed. (Changing pillowcases frequently can also help keep your face and hair cleaner.)
Laundering Pillows
Spot-treat any stains before you wash your pillow case if you're going to machine wash it. Very gently squeeze out any excess water from the pillow after washing. The filler can not be washed.
Storage
Store the pillows in a dry and well-ventilated closet or room when you are not using it, in order to avoid mildew.
